im just happy i made it to dyno day, made what i made, and made it home. im done complaining about the car. is what it is anymore, it will be fixed soon.

I don't know... It was one face book, so it's 50/50 at best. But from what I've been readin' the Z28 is sold out, as fast as they're built. So if someone bought one to sell on the floor, I'd expect that all it needs is someone with 100K and a desire to own it, to get it.
I gotta be honest. The only thing that keeps my from owning ALL of the fast cars, is the lack of money to get it down. :)
I'd say its true that they wrote it on there. I forget what corvette came out that one year but the dealers were marking them up for "adjusted market value". I'd be willing to bet the Z/28 that window sticker was on has already been through a set of rear tires....

A friend of ours sells car cleaning products from a company named Croftgate. We have seen him wash cars in parking lots, using only a gallon of water. You fill your bucket with water and add a capful of their cleaver/wax. You use a microfiber towel to wash with. Get it damp, and wash. following with a dry microfiber to polish and dry. Trixoie had sat out in the rain a couple days previous to him coming by, so she was a little dirty. I'm not exactly sure how this stuff works the way it does, but it's some amazing stuff. Anything that comes off the car sinks to the bottom of the bucket when you rinse the cloth. He washed and dried the car in less than 20 minutes, and the car looks better than the last time I waxed it with paste wax! They also have tire shine that is also a wheel poilsh.
It happened when the G8's first hit the dealer too. The sticker price would have $5000-6000 added and say adjusted for market. Same thing when the GXP hit the market. Just a dealer looking to make some extra money on a hot item.Quote:

They do that here all the time with any new model or performance car. They did it hardcore to ALL V8 5th gens when they came out, every single V8 one was marked up. C7s are still at MSRP though I have heard rumors that some people have gotten 5% under. But I am sure dealers did the same to those.

Not a single spec of dirt, dust or rust can be found. We average about 20-30 rattle cans of paint per truck, and this 45ft trailer will suck! But have about 70 cans of that awesome 1970's teal paint!

He just wrote 1... Had a cracked shoe in the drum on the right steer... There running a massive sting this week... There had to be like 40 state trooper dot guys there in the truck stop. big money maker for the state. Those tickets they write for commercial stuff are not cheap lol. Everything else was good on my truck, he was probably not having a good day cause 99% of the time they'll write a fix it ticket for something like that. I was even nice to him and offered him some chicken :)

So I have to share this. When we went to register our vehicles this year they wanted almost $500 for my wife's car for the 4th time. So I decided to ask the dmv about it and long story short they overcharged us cuz they had it classed as a $60,000 car lol. So we filed a case thing for a refund and we got a check back for the overcharges which equaled $963. So we decided to pick up a nice 4wd now that were on seperate shifts at work.
So I ended up running across a good deal. The guy worked at the GM plant and had bought this for his wife and they decided to sell it after the winter was over. So after paying him for it and registering it the total was $966. As far as I'm concerned that means I only paid $3 for this truck lol.
It's a 1998 with the tow package so it's got some low gears along with upgraded brakes and everything like that.
