Well 8.8 build is done, went with midwest chassis works lower control arms and panhard bar. Used a spohn adjustible tunnel mount torque arm. Well after a good launch on the street the spohn torque arm failed and took out the drive shaft. Is it possible the u-joint/yoke failed and took out the torque arm?
The way it felt was the torque arm snapped flipping the rear to a wild pinion angle relieving the u joint of its duties. It's a solid u joint no zerk fittings 1330 conversion joint. It shouldnt fail.
