Thanks. Blower pulley is a 3.7 and crank is 7.65 iirc.

awesome thread, really helps me gain motivation again. ive had thoughts of selling out again recently since it just seems that my car is a endless pit of money and time. could also be due to missing out on the last two summers.
I'm glad this helps motivate your build. At some point, you need to get it done and functional to enjoy it otherwise there are always reasons to wait and tinker more. This isn't to say that I recommend tossing something together that will not work but I think you know what I mean. I've sat there and said well maybe I should get bigger heads, custom this, custom that, etc but I'd rather have a good working car first. Then I can always do upgrades here and there if I somehow get bored. It will never be perfect but it's important to set the goal and get enjoyment from it otherwise it's just a pile of parts and dreams.
Pretty good day. Replaced the o2 sensors in the headers and also the o2 for the wideband. Tuner and I agreed a fresh set of sensors wouldn't hurt considering how much oil I passed over the last set.
Got the engine up to temp and bled the coolant system. It took a while and think it needs a little more bleeding but it didn't try to overheat. Giving it a rest to check the rad fluid level and will give it another go later on. AFR looks good once warmed up So dare I say it's almost ready for the retune.
Quick update. Life has been rather hectic lately but found some time to get the car ready for her dyno tune. I took the car for a spin last weekend to put some fresh gas in it and the trip was rather uneventful lol (This is a good thing!). The car started, idled and drove really well. The clutch was smooth and the trans shifted nicely. The engine stayed cool and most notably, didn't smoke a bit. I didn't get into any real level of boost (maybe a touch past atmosphere). The new LS steering shaft made a huge improvement in steering feel. It is much tighter with zero slop. The shocks need some adjustment since the rear was a little bouncy. I got back home, puller her in the garage and got out to hear the exhaust and confirm everything was still running clean. Thankfully, everything looked great and dare I say sounds better than before. The tune needs some work but its not bad.
I have a few small items to clean up but I'd say its ready to be tuned. Next Saturday is the big day so we will see what she does.
Big day huh?
Putting a ring on it?
