After market A4 shifter

@popo8 no its the highly rare MBA one. They are no longer in business but they pop up for sale every once in awhile.

It also doesn't sit up high

The adapter only works with a ball with a tail.

Works best that way. I started out with the MBA Z28 knob with tail. Then I switched to a B&M t-handle with button.

I had to flip flop the adapter and use like 3 or 4 different shim combos....but I got it after a few tries

I also have the Hurst Pistol Grip and MBA adapter for my -97 Formula, and I would like to know if there is a way to remove the white stick that is inside the shifter? You know, the one you have to press down in order to select gear?

The reason for this is that I don't like the height of my new shifter, it sits a bit too high and almost touches my stereo so I would like to cut it down a little bit. That would also make it a lot more comfortable to rest my hand on while driving.
