When I bought this ta the opti was coolant soaked its a 95 but the vent hose wasnt hooked up cause the hose was spongy with oil. Replaced everything still ned to do ign wires. Theres a trick on the seal though. I just dont remember if its the wp or opti drive seal thats has two lips.

water pump drive. the oil came from a massive intake leak the old motor had, not the opti seal. besides, the summit opti has a one piece pressed in drive, not a 2 piece shaftQuote:

quality Chinese opti. sensor looked same as summit, as well as had one piece drive, which is nice. awesome qc with the pinched gasket and 2 cap bolts loose. put the msd vented cap back on it, rtv the hell outta it, and installed. test fire #1 car started right up no codes. installing water pump, will get radiator on way home tomorrow and install/bleed. then we see how long it lasts. I have a sensor on way and will assemble my ghetto jb welded 180k mile spare Delco with mitsubishi sensor as a back up, and have a aip sensor on standby.

What brand Opti from Amazon? All the ones I saw where like 50 $ I'd like to have a back up esp now that MSD isn't probably the way to go.
