Sooooo here's the situation, I really like the people I work with now, and with ed napleton taking over my pay will be $9/hr. And with the 9-5 job, I would have to switch to night classes. But I have grown to be pretty good friends with 4-5 of the guys in my class right now.
I don't know if its worth it or not. Ya, pay is better and they would send me to GM training when I'm done with school...but I would be sacrificing working with the people I like and going to school with my friends.
Time to make those adult decisions. Sitting next to someone I can stand in a classroom, doesn't put food on the table (or a plate kit on the car).Quote:

What these guys said ^^ . Focus on your career. Entertain this for a minute. Take the fact that the dealership was sold as its not doing well and cuts could be made. Now thats probably not the case but you never know. Keep your options open and don't back yourself into a corner because you like the guys you work with.
Pick which one that makes school the easiest. I wish I would have gone to the school I was supposed to, I would be working on race motors instead of putting pipes together. :(

Is it a tech school or university? I know any university is going to let you change your schedule anywhere in the first 1-2 weeks. If you've only missed the first class of each one, shouldn't be a big deal to get caught up.Quote:

Well I am hoping to be in the 280-300 whp range off the bottle. Hoping for 400 whp on a 150 HP wet shot. I waxed a lt1 camaro on a 3.5 pulley and Bolt ons in my tan car. I held off a ls1 till about 1000 ft and he pulled me by a car or two in the same tan car. This setup should put a bus or 2 on the setup I had on the tan car.Quote:
