The eagle has landed. I brought the shortblock home yesterday.
Also, I picked up a used 4" Mufflex catback. It was cut in one spot so it'll have to be welded back together (no biggie). It's the single in/out version with a Flowmaster muffler but I might be swap it out in the future. Not bad for $200.

@blackbirdws6 Does your mufflex have the magnaflow muffler? How loud is it?
Looking for a replacement for the blowmaster.

Nothing is bolted down just yet because I'm still playing with the fit. Mangled the windage tray to clear rod bolts. It's ugly but it works.
Currently trying to get the pan/pickup/dipstick to jive together. Once I'm done with that I can move on to the heads.

Yep, Karl told me to flatten the dipstick too. I'm going to cut a little more on the windage tray because sometimes there's contact.
