Monday- Get called in for dumb asses that cant start their equiptment (i can deal with that its luck of the draw i was stuck with stand-by on a holiday)
Tuesday- told im taking the Support Wrecker up to the site and staying in the field for 6 days. no problem i was ready.
Wednesday- get a call mid day at the site telling me to come back to base but leave the wrecker at the site because they're not going full operation until Friday, AWESOME get to sleep in my bed for a few nights. so we take one of the damaged trucks back to base.
Thursday- end of the day at work, tracked down my Lieutenant to find out what time the convoy is leaving friday morning to the site, get informed that the full stand-up has been pushed back so friday we have to do a turn-n-burn to go get the wrecker (200 miles each way, and the wrecker maxes at 58mph). cool, get to make planes for my weekend and go shooting! A+!
Friday- show up to work at 0600 to do are turn-n-burn, goes great awesome time up and back, as we are pulling back on base with the wrecker at about 2:20pm cell rings....its my Lieutenant, "Sgt Roubal, dont hate me i have bad news. just got word that they are standing up the site tomorrow at 0600......"
this week has been fucking retarted! now me and my airman have to be at work at 0500 tomorrow to re-prep the wrecker and convoy are asses BACK up there for the 3rd time this week and are staying there untill next Saturday. the fucking sad part is, the most relaxing night i have had in the past week was Tuesday night at the site sleeping in a tent eating MRE's....
THE LEVEL OF STUPID HERE IS WAY TOO HIGH!!!!
