I wouldn't think so. I believe their concern is either moving the firewall or having holes in it.

I'm about to do this. .. think it would matter?
Oh man I like that.... we'd have to know what that consider an altered firewall to be. In my opinion, from a safety standpoint, it's just as safe because you're not leaving any holes in the firewall. And you're not moving it's location to accommodate moving the engine back to help with weight transfer so it doesn't pose any potential to help in performance. But I may be wrong on what they consider altered.
I just want to clean the engine bay up a bit and I have to stay busy this winter or I'll lose my mind lol
I hear ya. I really like that.... i wonder if I can talk the old man into it.
I'm going to call them and ask them how much weight it saves
Well mates all done for the year...the guy shut down the track a ton earlier then expected even though the weather has held out for the last few weeks... putting mr.gramps up on jackstands for the winter for his hibernation. Getting my rear rims taken off my 275 pros today and getting them wrapped up for double bead locks this week. Also thinking on changing my front rim set up for something different.
might do a little weight reduction this winter to but thats a secret :gun_bandana:
:(
Why the unhappy face :)
You never did send me your logs lol. BTW I'm going to go with two 400lph pumps. Each will leave the pump hat through its own 3/8" line, then I'll run them both to a -8 y block.
