Where do the you tie the "frame supports" too? Our kit said to tie those bars into the subframe connectors, but the main hoop is directly above it. I thought I read somewhere that some guys just weld them to the driveshaft tunnel, some even to the floor pan. Doesn't seem very sturdy in that area. Is there another brace that can be ran across to tie the subframe connectors in, then the last 2 points to that bar?

6 or 8 pt roll bar is the same to NHRA, you need a roll cage for sub 10s or +135mph traps
I doubt I'll get sub 10s... my shitty mild steel cage will do!
There is no good spot to tie into something solid. My wolfe cage ties into 6x6 plates in the rear floor board tunnel area.

Will most places boot you if all you have is a 6 pt and running 9s?
Think it would be a good idea to hack this one out and put a chromoly 10 pt in?
With an unaltered firewall you can get a 6pt roll bar legal to 10.00-10.99 but, once you surpass 135mph, roll cage time. Or go sub 10
My car will never have a roll cage so you and I can see who gets the boot first.
I cut a bit out of my cowl to fit my intake. ... I wonder what they consider an unaltered firewall
I think it would depend on the track. I ran with no bar at all and didn't get the boot. Anything is better than nothing.
