According to my research, the threads for the temperature sending unit in the head is 3/8 - 18 NPT. So if the new gauge has a 1/8 18 thread size I would use the part I linked above ja?
Ran the car for about 15 minutes. Let it get all warm and toasty. Shut it off and opened the bleeders. No air came out. I think it's all set.
Drove the turd to school today. Bounced the limiter twice accidentally. I think it's fine now
I'm probably going to do a top end refresh. Here is my list of parts. Everything look ok? Of course head gaskets will be done too.

I'm not going to cam it. I want to but I don't need to. I want to compete in Street stock at the shootout. But if I do cam it, it's not going to be anything huge. Maybe a little bigger than a hot cam. It's my daily driver after all. Plus the car has 110k miles..
Why do head gaskets if they're still good? Honest question

How are you ordering PR before installing rockers/studs/plates? Guessing on length?
And ultra pro mags, aluminum is for beer cans.
Another thing, why go and install all those other parts and not install a cam while you're at it? The PR length could change depending on which cam you decide to go with as well as what shownomercy says.

They have never been done. It's cheap insurance.
Not ordering until I measure it. No plans for this until late winter.
And ultra pro mags. Got it.
Beats me lol. I may do it. You wanna help me cam swap 😂😃
Haha. Interesting approach
