Oh yes. The hd2500 came with the 4l80e. I had an 03 2500hd but I sold it before I got a chance to turbo it. That's a hell of a deal though.
But I'm guessing its got vinyl seats, not leather with rubber floors lol
I believe my next project will be an ls truck of that caliber. Hard to go wrong there. I mean, for less than 5k you could be running 11s

I need to get a welder and a second car either to build the Caddy or get another project car since its at least another year till im hired in off contract and I wont need a "personal" car for travel
Im moving in a few weeks and I just bought a washer and dryer I no longer need for like 1200 bucks! I wonder if I can toss them on clist for trade on a welding setup.

Yeah I have a little Arc welder .. Well that I havent used since I was 17 maybe I should plug it in and see if I can lay down some welds. Doubt it

I love me some bartering. Before I started the Monte project I finally bit the bullet and got a mig machine. I had wire welded at work before but never had one at home (flux core doesn't count). So glad I did. Its so clean and quick. I'll never stick weld at home again now. Spoiled rotten
Well when I come up there for my class I can bring a washer and dryer less than 40 loads!
Lol I got a washer and dryer. Throw em on craigslist, might take you a few trades but you'll get it. I just seem a lot of machines up for trade in the STL pages

Well, not everyone that works at auto parts stores are idiots. The term "mechanic" gets used very loosely anymore. You have to take what people say their mechanics have told them with a grain of salt. State the facts and give your suggestions and let it be.
Theres mechanics and then there are technicians
This. However you do still have to be careful applying that term as well. Many technicians out there are merely monkeys who know how to go down a check list and don't actually understand how the system they are working on operates...Quote:
