Looks like it was spitting fire out the exhaust? Drag skinnies look cool.

yeah, that was when it bit in 2nd gear then knocked the tire off HARD and hit the 7k limiter on the ltcc. i thought the trans broke
so that first pass was a dud. we got to the track late as when i started the car sunday morning my wideband took a crap. Had to run and get a new sensor then put that in, load up, etc. get to track and track was still damp. went thru tech and they started running right away, well tech is right in the staging lanes this year, so i hopped in the tire lanes and went to the line. no laptop, just gonna send it down to see how the track was etc. thats where the above flame pic is from. new guy running the line and he was lost so didnt get a good burnout, 18psi in tires. made the 1-2 shift and it bit held from like 4500 to 5400 then the tire lost traction bad.
second pass 17 psi in tires actually got a good burnout and the car repeated its 11.73 pass from last time but at 118.3mph. ok mph is up so that is good, da in the shitter at 1600ft plus 64f and 86% humidity.
third pass 11.71 at 118 again. tires hot were reading 19.5psi so dropped them again to 17psi. this time i footbraked it as hard as i could (other passes leaving on idle) and it got to 2300rpm but the brakes didnt want to hold it there.
4th and final pass footbraked it to 1900ish rpm, no changes other than resetting tire pressure to 17psi again, 1650 da 64f air temp 86%humidity. only other thing i did different was ring it out a bit higher (1-2 shift at 6900ish, 2-3 at 7k) and the car went 11.67 at 116.89 with a 1.615 60ft.
this is with the nitrous plugs in it, but just a motor tune. car seemed to be learning and cleaning up as the day went on. slowly chipping away.
talked to @Chopstix and @elliottsportworks and they suggested spinning it higher, so next time at the track im going to do 3 things:
1: spin it to 7200 then shift
2: try the 26" drag radials on a motor hit as i think they may help when on motor (would theoretically "change" the rear ratio to 4.30) and would allow me to cross the stripe at 6800 rpm as opposed to 6200rpm on motor
3: spraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
gotta change up the exhaust. thinking aluminum to shave weight, single 4" dumped like the belowAttachment 40437
Awesome passes, I keep thinking you're gonna keep pulling tenths till you can break into the high tens. It'll be a beast on the juice. Kudos for being able to drive it full pedal, that's harder than people realize sometimes.
You got me wanting to go run mine at the strip.
Leaving for Talladega this week. Catch up when I get back.

Oh, I forgot.... Why you need exhaust pipes? Open the headers up and go faster???
Would the exhaust exit be better off turned towards the passenger side a bit instead of straight down?

Looks like the Y-pipe I had with the 4" Mufflex. It didn't fit after the Gear Vendors was added.

Also had the dual turndowns pointed inward to try and keep the noise under the car at E'town where they checked sound level with the engine under full power. Did I give you the noise reduction turndowns with the perforated cones?
