well i ordered my bearings for the short block and they should be in this week. all i have left if for the short block is the oil pump and the timing chain.
i got some ARP head bolts the other day and this should all come to gather nicely.
today i got the high volume oil pump, pick up tube, and timing chain. this is coming along .... just a few more parts. still need to get the timing cover gasket, head gaskets, intake gaskets, machine work done to the convert the SBC intake to fit on the LT1 heads.
So I have everything purchased now to start my build... and I have decided on my colors
Engine bay is going to be a high glossy black probably some regular Rustoleum high gloss
My engine block and heads and intake manifold are going to be satin or matte black
Some of the Carburetor Parts are going to be black but most of it is going to be purple as well as the timing chain cover, the valve covers, and the water pump

This is the color purple I'm going to be powder coating all the stuff in
What ever happened to this build?
Last he messaged me he was converting a sbc single plane to make it carbd... but idk if he was still gonna spray it with a 300 shot again...
LTXtech.com IS my drug...

still going to spray big ... just got everything back so i can start it ... i took it all to a friends storage unit and he is/was an oil field guy ... well he lost his job and then family got sick. couldnt pay the storage unit rent so it got locked and just yesterday he got back in it so i got all of my stuff back ... so now i am doing it in a not so favorable place in the shed (very dusty and dirty) but i am getting the ball rolling again.
