if i have clearance. if i dont, i dont. arp comes with washers. the bolts that come with the headers dont have washers.

cluster***k today. got some time after taking my son to the doc to work on the bird. passenger side header was all mocked up, started mocking up drivers side, and ran into a bunch of issues.
I didnt plan on changing motor mounts until winter when i put in my le2 motor. Welp drivers side was hitting motor mount bracket. ok clearanced bracket easily. put steering shaft in, hit both center primaries....shit. no one local had a new rubber one in stock, but since we are ltjuan hoarders, i had a drivers side poly already in the bracket.
it still hit, so proceed to clearance. I may have went a little far with the hammer, but roadkill proved you dont lose much with dented primaries. now it fits, clears, etc. got the gasket in and drivers side header is buttoned up.
passenger side will be completed after motor mount, then ltcc and fire it off.
I blame @Catmaigne for jinxing me on the header hitting the steering shaft. he stopped by to trade torque arms from his firehawk, and he mentioned i may run into it with these headers...dick!!! Steve's Spohn's first version of a torque arm. With anything other than stock power/torque, the single slider tube at the front (inside the bellows) will start to bend. He repaired mine by inserting a solid steel bar tight inside the hollow tube. When we did the stroker, he convinced me to do a complete replacement with a newer design.
got the passengers side motor mount in and done, the headers buttoned up, accessory bracket back on, now to fix the wiring and install ltcc

for anyone wondering, the speed daddy/dna ebay stainless headers actually come with decent bolts, and i used the supplied bolts on the end holes, used the arps with washers in the other 4 positions on each side. arp's with washers would not work on the ends. the supplied bolts are 10mm head and 1" long, they work well.

"Babe, what car are these o2 sensors from?"
Her - "I dont know honey"
"Hey Osie, what are these o2's from" @Ltconvert "like you care, put em in"
thats how today went. Fiance forced me into the garage today, old guy came over and helped me put the plugs in, starter, new hd battery cables from innovative wiring, started laying out ltcc.
Oh yea, repaired some sketchy wiring. Knock sensor was wired to performance shift button wire on pcm on the c connector, knock sensor is supposed to be on the d connector! wtf! MeKaNiC OwNeD my ass.
gotta pick up a cheap oil change, install ltcc coils, put that damn fuel line relo in, and finish ltcc
