NJ has confirmed I am in fact not a criminal
Picked up 250rd of .40 UMC for $45 at Walmart, looks like they are closing out of em.
Fuggin dirty ass ammo though
Yea decent price, they all went bang at my match but gun is seriously dirty
For .40, that's a great deal. Usually no less than $14 per 50 rds.
I was about to pull the trigger on a new M&P Shield and got roped into the PT111 G2 because I'm a glutton for punishment.
Rural King had it for 219 versus 330 for a shield.
I figure for 219, if it causes trouble, I'll ship it off to Taurus and let them fix it since it's a lifetime warranty. Hell, if it screws up, I'll be motivated to get my shield.
I just wouldn't trust it for a long time for edc.
I am about to get a shield, but I got a subcompact frame for my sig 320 and a flush mag and it's perfect for me.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...3f96eff0ba.jpg

I don't disagree personally because I'm a m&p guy.
However, most reviews are putting the pt111 ahead. It's a great budget entry.
While a tad bulky for cc, my PPX has had not a single issue. Under $300, can't be happier with it. Prob close to 2k through it now.
Is that the Walther with the massive slide and grip?
I held one atRK and really considered it. They were on massive clearance for like 289 here.
That it is, if it runs out of ammo, tactical pistol throw to the face.
Sweet.
It's like a hi point that works and is made by Germans....
(Ok, unfair comparison, apologies to Walther)
I read that the MP9 and 40 had the typical heavy-ass trigger and the grip was too big for a lot of folks.
I have massive hands and my MP9 is from the 2016 blue line which has a revamped trigger (same as the shield trigger).
I love it.
I'll give an update on the Taurus after about 400 rounds
I felt like it was sloppy as hell with the hinge mechanism. My sig has no hinged or glock style bladed trigger, and I much more prefer it. I traded the m&p for a canik tp9sa and that cheapo has a better trigger than the m&p I had IMHO.
Good luck with the taurus, let us know how it does. I just got some steel targets from half cocked targets and can't wait to make them ring.

Have yet to fire a pistol with a better trigger out of the box than mai PPX.
Next up on my list is a ruger in 6.5 creed
Ive fired many hand guns. I still love my g17 the best...
LTXtech.com IS my drug...

Nothing feels better than a full frame. The just aren't conducive to edc because of the size.
Oh, my body's frame plus.
That's what I did as well. Off the glock train and rolling m&p.
7yd line, right side, good lord is this tougher than I thought.

Battleship bro, tis a game
Finally signed up to get my rifle license so I can get out before the orange army this November and cannot for the life of me find a halfway decent muzzleloader in NJ. And what does not require a NICS to buy at all, no place online will ship to NJ.
I swear this state is ass backwards.
Lets talk glass, at or under $200
Nikon Prostaff

Vortex Crossfire II

Vortex Diamond Back

Redfield

Going on a bolt action 5.56, at or under 250 yd shooting
Thoughts?
I have had great experiences with Vortex. I have a Crossfire II and a Diamondback in different magnifications than those listed above. The Viper PST I have on my .308 is well worth the cash if you are looking to step up or find a good deal. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the ones you have listed there for your application.
Ordered a Crossfire this evening, hopefully get the gun setup next week and see how poorly I do
What brand of bolt gun did you go with?
Ruger, their American Rifle line, predator model.
Ruger 10/22 or Winchester 30 for a starter rifle.
Ruger cause they are super modifiable and dirt cheap. Don't expect a 1moa shooter out of box but they are incredibly fun
Well, the winchester would be free from my gramps.
But I've seen how modifiable the Ruger is and I got antsy.
Are winchester 30s really modifiable or no.
Sorry for noob questions. Figured I'd get way better answers here than Google tbh
