Hey hey hey... i already did the opti. Cool thing tho... had a starter from that donor camaro. That thing has been awesome to have... ive given away so much... used so much... kept so much...sold so much stuff CHEAP and i am soooo in the POSITIVE with it... im speechless.
Had some mail order work done by some friends on the PCM for my 94 TA GT. The question was, would it be worth it on a stock high mileage car.... the answer, YES. She runs cooler, and loves the new higher idle. At WOT the new "worked" CPT trans feels happier as she does not hang between shifts. Throttle response acceleration feel much better and more crisp. Now as long as my 189,000 mile LTX keeps it together we will see how the quarter mile feels about the adjustments (previously a 14.7x car).
Plans in motion for this as well.
TA (as long as its still in one piece will be at the shootout in stock form (other than trans).
Will need to get some tires for the fats/skinnies i bought for it... orrrrr i may just swap the DRs (315s) off the vette on to the TT2s I have in the garage as well... as long as the tread with does not disqualify me from the bracket and street class.
Will hopefully have at least the exhaust...and gears in it.
Will still not be painted... but hopefully tint is on...
After the shootout the TA as well as a patch piece of drivers floor (donor camaro) will be dropped off at the Votech... and they will floor repair and paint the car... once again win/win.
Once thats done... as long as she is healthy... ill be "done" ish. Lol
Looks like TaDan the original owner of the car before me is interested in the firehawk wheels. So it may be time to get the TT2s on it!
