FID card at 18, pistol permit at 21, and essentially no CCP what so ever. If you get pulled over with a pistol and cannot prove you are going to a range or home from a range, you are in some serious trouble.
Want to buy single shot ammo? Yea, need your FID card.
Can't have more than 15rd clip/mags and don't even get me started on the limit of three "evil" gun features you are allowed on rifles/shottys.
I looked at the build thread and didn't see what was so bad. I did see some light hearted egging to keep you motivated. I can speak from a fair amount of experience that it's easy to lose motivation on big long term projects like you undertook. Also remember that in print it's very hard to tell tone in which it was ment. A lot of Stuff is said in jest but gets taken the completely opposite direction.Quote:

And apologized and bought him a beer at the shoot out and shook hands on it and now I bs with the guy every month or so on the phone and catch up...and would call the guy a friend

As far as a reliability stand point couldn't say. . This Xds has been great. Never heard much bad about them. But I know a ton of people love there glocks.
I really like shooting the shield alot ... doesn't hammer as hard as that 45acp ...
