What about the American Made AK? Our local gun shop has gone some in for $530 with a synthetic stock. Are they good and can you get them with wood? If not Can you still find cheap surplus wood for the AK?

Savage has some mail in rebates that are worth looking into.
kills me I spent over 800 on the fcp SR without a scope base a few years ago and now they are in the 500 range with the ewg base with the Mail in rebate.
Bought another 500rd ammo case from LAX, poor PPX is gonna have close to 2k rounds through it in less than a year.

Hey Sean sadly Century Arms has quite a bad reputation when it comes to their own firearms they build. The c39 V1 and c39v2 are both CRAP. The receiver itself is good but they use a cast bolt and bolt carrier group that's been known to Blow up on some guns. Check the receiver on it, lots are bowed out as well.Quote:
