BTW, Ben, call911 makes over 600hp and he was pulling low 11s in the quarter... he is not a true drag car.. it makes alot of difference. Pat Burton makes less than 500 and pulls 9s... his suspension is right!

As far as your build. I would also upgrade the bottom end. like pistons and rod bolts.

And ill show there LS1 cars what its like to run with a sub 3000 lb. LT1 putting down 437 whp. They won't walk strait for a week;)

Im leaving this job for the one make more than double an hour. Going to buy a house and ive got a 77 280z 2+2 im going to do a little work on and daily drive.
Lmao when my 240 is done i would put beside the z any day of the week. Weight will definetely be on my side lmao.
You definetely have the skill level on me but my 240 is going to be set up right. That said im not saying it will be better than your ta lmao. You will have to come take it around birmingham or atlanta when its done. I figure 2800lbs, 17x7/17x9 setup, 500whp with a t56 or zf, a 3 link/watts link setup 9inch rear, and coilovers/swaybars/adj control arms etc etc should be pretty fun. Although its going to take time to dial it in im sure.

But well tear some stuff up. Your car suspension will almost mimic mine. Just on a different platform.

I will agree with this only with the use of a WSQ hood ;) I do like the fender vents though on the sides, wish I could swap those and only those lol. But the WSQ is fucking sexy! Someone needs to fab up one for our cars...

I always thought the LT1 TA nose looks like a big chunk of styrofoam that someone cut two circles out for fog lights. :lol: I don't know why but that's what I always see.

Well, the bird is sitting at Chevrolet in line for an alignment. I really hate having to leave it there while I'm sitting here at work, I'm sooooo paranoid about all the horror stories of techs joy-riding in cars they're supposed to be working on and breaking shit. I don't think the guys there would do that (I hope), as they are an older bunch, so I'm expecting more maturity. This is the first time I've ever had to take my car to a shop though :lol:
I like the 98+ TA. But thank the front end got to "gimmicky" and cartoonish.. The LTX is more sleek and to the point. And looks very aggressive.
