I'ma take a picture for ya'll and show it later. Just don't want to do anything else wrong lol.

I fixed it. No picture to show because you all think I'm already stupid. If you saw what I did.. Jesus you'd believe I was missing a brain.
Thanks folks. More to come
I jacked the rear up before and it wouldn't line up. I'll try and again on Monday
I used a BF dead blow hammer and gave it a hand full of love taps, mine didn't line up well either but you can muscle it in there. No biggie, you're doing fine!
Also don't tighten anything up until they're all in, every little bit of wiggle helps.

Look at my pretty springs. I got it done, just have to tighten down both sides. I had the arm install in 15 minutes on the driver side. BOUT TO HAVE THAT CALI LEAN!

Hey Dan, when you pulled your stock heads how did your head gaskets and pushrods look? Did you check for bent ones?
Also when you put in LE heads what method did you use to adjust lash?
Just curious. I may end up doing this soon.
Shbox.com will spell it out for ya in a way that is hard to ef up to adjust rockers. I always go 3/4 turn now, hearing too many horror stories about 1/2 turn walking off or sounding like a sewing machine. Factory are set to 1.25 to 1.5 turns so nyea

Ok
So I need to quiet down the car. I have an event at the local track. The decibel limit is 74. What are some options I have? . Currently I have no idea what decibel I'm at, but I know it's loud.
MagnaFlow maybe?
Also @tubby_Z28 I'll get more pics for ya when I get home. Sorry, just been stupid busy with school
Find out where on the track the DB reader is and point you exhaust the opposite direction. This is a big problem for people who race their cars at places like laguna seca. Obviously yours won't need to be this crazy but you get the idea.

From what I'm being told, the sound meter is at the long stretch where the people outside the track complain the most.
Anyways, did some painting and shit.

Waiting for paint to dry on driver's side then it's all going back in when I get time again. Much excite
Can't tell but looks like the panhard bracket got put on the driver side instead of passenger side?

Perfect, so just have to come up with a temporary way to point your exhaust out the opposite side, and maybe point it upwards a little if you can since the meter is most likely on the ground and you won't want it bouncing off the ground towards it. If it's on the Passenger side it should be pretty easy for your setup, if not you'd just have to flip the 90* after the axle.
What do you mean?
Yeah, I have a few 90 degree bends I can use and make something real funky up.

Got a set of replica wheels lol. I'm just using them as spares, nothing permanent. Damn close to hitting the caliper.
What exhaust do you have now?
3 inch single into a bullet muffler where the stock muffler is. Wanting to go to Hawks 4 inch
So, get a magnaflow or normal fbody muffler that actually... muffles noise..?
Hory shit, why 4"? That's yuuuge.
Sent from my VS986 using Tapatalk
@Ltconvert has a single 3.5" mufflex MagnaFlow setup, on a boosted 383. I don't think you need a 4" bro. Stop compensating

4 inch is 450 bucks!
Just put a turndown on the end pointing towards the inside of the track opposite to where the meter is.
What kinda racing are u doing there?

Road racing. I made a fancy exhaust thingy. It's gonna look funny on the car just like my pink springs
Hell my car only has a 3 inch exhaust, truck has a 5 inch, but thats cause #dumptrucklife
Stop being a typical n00b and learn from other people's mistakes.
Bolt on car? Wut. 24x setup was under 700
So speed engineering came out with a true dual stainless 3 inch setup that runs out back.
All for the low low price of $500.
3" duals are even larger than a single 4". Dual 2.5" or single 3.5" would be better for H/C with headroom for more power down the road. Otherwise, just keep it 3" with a high flowing muffler or cutout pointed where you need it. It's fine for a H/C car.
