You are trapping under a 100mph in a six speed car that is cammed, bolt ons, and tuned...?
I normally do, like I said I didn't want to DQ.
Mail order tune, stock rear suspension, wasn't pushing the car to full potential. I didn't want the car to end up on the gurney for the trip home. And I trapped 104 boi
Yes. It's 12.8-13.3
If ur leavin on the third yellow properly u wont "dq." Thats how u get a good rt. And in bracket racing thats the difference btwn winning and losing.

I understand that. This was my first visit this year and I was nervous as hell about breaking something and wanted to do good for my school. But when I go back I'll give ya'll a 12 second run ;)
I'm starting my list of winter mods as it's getting cold as hell in the mornings here and it reminds me of winter.
So far on the list is:
True duals
Ported intake
Yanking the harness and making it even more beautiful
Clutch
And might entertain a 8.8 or 9inch rear end
Were those filmed with a burning samsung phone?
Nice runs!
Didn't want to break anything huh? Now u know why I trailer my car to the track. Even street cars can ride on a trailer!!
Rear end should be ur first on the list of mods...

Or have a DD to drive when race car shit happens and give no fucks if shit breaks.
The Camaro is my DD spring to fall lol.
Anyways, I hung up my muffler finally. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...7726763010.jpg
I USED to brag my T-Tops didn't leak.
Add that to the to do list..
I have new ones.
I just noticed a crack in my dash too Jesus Christ http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...2887c05dba.jpg
Shit used to be pristine.
Check these out. They're pretty nice.

It's not that dash pad that's cracked, it's the actual dash lol.
I might do a firebird dash swap over the winter. I'm getting ready to park it soon.
Come take mine apart and u can have it. But the airbag blew out

Mine is different. My car is a 97, that's when they got the new interior. It's not that big of a deal, just thought it was funny because I was having such luck.
Went to one of those self washes last night before a car meet. Never used one before and now I will. Didn't even scrub the car and it came out clean!
Alrighty
The car is being parked soon, snow is coming.
This summer/fall has been the best time of my life. Not only did I get my car finally running, but I met even more people at school. I joined a car club and it's been the best thing to happen to me. I've had a lot of shit happen these past two years with my family and finding another family at school helped a ton.
Having this car be on the back burner for so long really demoralized me. I was about ready to list it.
I'm so happy I didn't. I've never had so much fun in this car. I've met so many new friends due to me being so happy the car is running.
I want to thank you all for being a part of my heads and cam swap that took too long. Tonight is likely the first and last time I'll cruise Woodward this year. I haven't even been to Woodward since the cars been out because of school and just not wanting to do it.
But alas I thank you all for your time and help.
What was the best time you ended up getting out of it?
13.6 with a God awful 60 ft.
I went down to Woodward last night because the weather was great. Was my first time down this year. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...19763fe748.jpg

Also decided to mount the gauge in the 6le pod..
Very nice! That's what I ran last year after my swap, with i think a 1.9 60 ft, I'm scared to do much to make it grip any better with a stock rear lol.
That was my fear. I was at Milan and I was doing bracket so I was trying not to break the car.
My fog light grills came in today too. Going to paint them http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...5aa72eccd6.jpg
Thanks @popo8
There's a surprise!
@firebird_1995 made me these coil brackets. My biggest project this winter is cleaning up this wiring mess and make lt1 look great again. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...85becb9aa9.jpg
I just made the spacers. I think the brackets were plasma cut by the guy I bought my 355 from. But I've drawn up the layout in case they need to be made thicker or moved a bit. Let me know if you need something changed and I can cut a set on the cnc

Oops I forgot. I'll let you know how they work out. I can't see having any problems.
Weren't these off the spoolbus?
@Dan You've got a lot done to this car in a year... I'm almost ready to end maintenance and begin moneypit phase.

I will have owned this car for three years in March 2017. Never really did much maintenance as I got a stack of paper with it. Only main things I changed was seals and the water pump/cooling system.
It's been a fun journey.

Bought a ss wang through Carid. It was a solid Benjamin. Has the third brake light too.
Has a minor imperfection that'll be fixed when painted. Test fitting it later when I park the car finally today. Made a lot of extra room in the garage yesterday. Winter mods to come!

Mounted the wing last week and it fits good. For 100 bucks I can't even complain. I recommend it highly. There's a slight gap on the driver side but it's not that bad. Also changed the blue lights out and went white.
Also, earlier I started installing my LCAs and relocation brackets and I'm having a fun time. I did dumb things and I don't want to talk about my dumb things I did.

Will also be painting my rear calipers. Either satin or gloss black, or silver.
Ohhhh boy lol. it's just a few bolts per side, how bad could you have Danned them???
I never said I was perfect!
The lower shock bolt isn't long enough to put through with a lock washer on. Could I just snag a lock nut and use that instead of a standard nut and lock washer?
