SO get this... today I recieve an email from the boss that reads...

I think to myself... that sounds serious...what is he talking about... so I arrive to work to find out it is a picture I printed weeks ago of LORETTA BROWN, ex wife of CLEVLAND BROWN from the FAMILY GUY series of cartoons.... thats right, he was refering to this CARTOON pic...

After laughing it off, I went through my work email, and found an email from the Boss to call him. I did, he discussed some work stuff with me, then scolded me on hanging this on another officers desk... I corected him and stated that I gave it to the other Officer, after discussing a subject we had dealt with looked just like the cartoon character. I then reminded the BOSS that he and I even laughed about the pic a few weeks ago, when he originally saw it......
He FIRMLY STATED "I dont want anyone thinking we are profiling....it is clearly a black person." Sooooooo as sarcastically as I could I replied, "I understand sir, I do not want any of our black cartoon character residents to think that we are out looking for them specifically." He got irritated and spoke over me and stated that if it is not police related he did not want it hanging in our "EMPLOYEES ONLY" office, becaue "its not a locker room." I stated, YES SIR, I UNDERSTAND SIR, no more prime time cartoon characters unless it is Police related.
Now that my sarcastic conversation ended... Is it not more racist to think that a photo of a black cartoon character is RACIST, when it has nothing to do with color? If it was PETER GRIFFIN that I hung up... would it have been an issue......

Dumb question...but will a 93 block work in my 97? The reason I ask is because I know that 93's arent obd2 and aren't they speed density motors?

Yup 93 to 97 short block should be fine. 93 had a different intake manifold (it didn't have the fuel crossover), 93 didn't have the MAF sensor, obviously the PCM is different, etc some other things too.

2 bombs went off at the end of the Boston Marathon just over an hour ago injuring many people. Police are still searching the area and finding more secondary devices as well. 2 fellow employees from my company are at this race and luckily are safe with their families in their hotel rooms. They both finished the race, one just 5 minutes before the bombs went off. Talk about way too close for comfort... Prayers to everyone who was injured in the blasts... I hope they find the sick bastards who did this.

It's more then just wanting a vette, I'm getting fucked at work and every day seems to bring more shit to my plate, it's like I got a set up to fail and I just don't have time for these cars any more between work and my little one. I just feel that if I go to a vette I will be happier with the starting product and not want to go to far with it as I do with these cars trying to basically out do a vette. I'm way up in the air right now but have never been this stressed.

I get what your saying but if I don't have the time to do any thing I would rather drive it then look at it pieces in my garage and I almost 100% refuse to have any one work on my cars so I don't see me paying some one to do any of that, the way I see it is I can have a fun cruiser with good power and can cut corners for the late night mountain cruises.
Like I said, I'm stressed more then I have ever been and the cars just seem like a giant burden at this point.

3 project f-bodies, 96 formy, 97 WS6 and the 94 Z28. The G8 is the girls DD. as far as a payment that's where selling everything comes into play, with all the crap I have I could probably come out around 15-17,000 after everything is sold if I do it right so even if I get a loan now all the money from stuff sold will go towards the loan.
