Looks awesome man! Sharp looking car, definitely much nicer with the FM5's. Not digging the drag set up on these cars.

Thanks man! I don't mind the drag look, definitely like the FM5 look better but its nice to change it up and be able to beat the hell out of a separate set of wheels for the track. With the pro stars on I think it reminds me of my friends silver 68 camaro in a way.
Nice wheels...did you extend the front wheel studs for the prostars and what thickness spacer? I have the same set-up but need the longer studs and haven't been able to confirm the correct length
thanks
I'd like to see a better pic of it on the 26" slicks. Car is beautiful brother!

I have the Pro-Stars. Front is a 15x3.5" 1.75" backspace. Use a 5/16" spacer on the front. I got a set of 0.509" knurled studs, 2.67" long from Lingenfelter (we're talking 14 years ago here..... :D maybe things have changed). The problem with the Lingenfelter studs, which I recall were the same as the GM Performance Parts studs, is that in addition to the 2.67" length, they have almost another 1/2" of unthreaded length. I guess that's supposed to make them easier to slip the wheel on, but they stick way out when I want to put my street wheels on. The 2.67" length just barely meets the NHRA requirement that the hex portion of the lug nut must engage "one diameter" (or 12mm, call it 1/2") of the stud threads.
The solution to the "too long for my street wheels" problem is to get double length, open end conical lugs for the street wheels. I had the same problem with my 3" x 1/2" threaded studs in the rear wheels (Strange axles). Double length lugs when the ZR1/GS wheels are on.
Thanks for the input injuneer...I like that length vs 3"
I didn't noticed this got bumped haven't been on in a while. I run the 5/16 spacer and I don't even know what length studs to be honest. They're ARP on all 4s, ridiculously long..
I'm actually looking into switching up the Welds tho this summer since I don't really like using the spacer and the rears are extremely close to my calipers. Maybe black BS street lites
great deal on the wheels since it comes with new tires too. Nice ride!
Really nice looking wheels.
