How would you describe the chatter? I didn't use the additive and I haven't noticed anything wrong with my rear end making any noise. Although I may have a 98+ rear end too... I can't remember. :lol: My car is such a frankenstein.
Gear oil should meet spec GL-5. Most of it does, but make sure.
Why would the 98 rear make a diff.. unless its a locker or spool it will still have clutch packs.Quote:
