I see you're running 227s on a 396. I am also going to venture a guess that you are spraying your set-up. My concern with the 227s is loss of low rpm intake velocity, and I don't think I have enough cam to drive them either, hence my musings on the 195/210s. Would you mind throwing me a part number for your intake manifold so I can at least investigate that route. I really didn't want to go with a carb, but won't rule it out yet.
