We havebuilds ranging from $800 to $1500 (based on your supplied core). Since you'rein Texas, shipping would be $150 (each way). It may be a better option to justhave me build you a complete unit with me supplying the core, which would saveyou shipping it to me. We do charge for "hard parts" with customersupplied cores, which means we charge for parts not normally replaced in abuild that are too damaged to reuse. These parts may include things like aplanetary, pump, drum, etc. Not all transmissions require hard parts, though. We do have a $300 "ceiling" on hard parts, which means that's themost extra it could cost. This is why I suggest having us supply a core. Let'ssay you spend $150 to ship yours to us and then you hit the $300 ceiling onhard parts?
Our $800 "Performance" build will provide a crisper shift, but isgeared more toward the street enthusiast who doesn't take their car to thetrack. Our $1000 "Race" unit is for cars with a little more powerthat see occassional drag strip use. Our "Pro Race" unit is more forheavy track use or any car cutting less than a 1.7 60 ft. time or a heavy car.In extremely high HP cars or extremely heavy cars, we suggest the $500 billetoutput shaft option to the "Pro Race" build.
So, with us supplying a core, packaging and shipping, you're looking at $1500total for a "Race" build or $2000 total for a "Pro Race"build. All transmissions have a 1 year warranty, providing you purchase thecorrect level build for your intended purpose.

Are you thinking about trying to rebuild this yourself? Have you ever built a 4L60E? It's not a real good beginners transmission. Add to that that most build manuals don't address the 4L60Es design flaws that require parts to be changed, updated or modified. Our common findings have been that most guys who try these on their own very rarely get them right. In most cases. it will cost more for the tools to build one correctly than the cost to have someone build it.

and no im not gonna planning on doing it my self i have a uncle who builds trannys and he said he would do it for me if i get all the parts. so do you have a # i can reach you at so i can contact you and so i can figure out if i should send it to you or just get the kit from and have my uncle do it. i would like to send it to you but i feel like thats to much of a hassle to ship the tranny
I think it would cost more to put a t56 on your car then get Frank to build and ship that trans. If I still had an auto I would have Frank build it.
