Thunder Racing is not far from me. They have been around since the early '90's. The only business I have done with them is walking in and buying a set of plug wires. The staff was cool and after a bit of conversation, I got a mini tour of the facility. They do alot more than sell parts. The guy giving me the shop tour was a walking encyclopedia on lt and ls engines. Real nice folks. I've never had to deal with them online. Hate the fact that others have had issues. Rather than go down and tell them that their reputation is fading, I sent them an email with a link to this thread. I can't vouch for these folks, I just wanted to share my experiences with them. Well thats very nice... hopefully they will come see it, and grab on to the loyal customers and maybe even future customers (if they turn things around) here.

Well folks, They have had adequate time to respond. I've have not received any response to my email nor have they posted here. When I get time to drive over to Baton Rouge, I'm gonna stop and see if they are still in business or what. Nolan

Just checked the website and its still up. I'll try to get by the store and see if the lights are still on. The have moved once before, maybe they are moving again or something. I'll let ya'll know what I find out.

OK folks, I went to Baton Rouge today and talked to a couple of guys in the office. They are still going strong. Told them about this thread and the comments within. One of the guys said that the bad thing about internet gossip is that 1 problem out of 100 sales generates alot of gossip. I did get an email back today thanking me for letting them know about the gossip. As far as what they do, I'll let them speak for themselves. I'm going to give them the benefit of doubt because I haven't had any bad experiences with them. Still the same cool gearheads from the last time I was there. Nolan

Lol.. Thanku very much for doin that...odds are for some of us you dont even know. I hope they come on here and see the thread and see this community is not about bashing them...but we are about looking iut for each other, and if they are not treating customers right, we need to let members of our community before they get TOOK.
