Unroll the rubber and decide which edge you want to hang down. Each edge is a different shape and size so its you preference, both look good so good luck deciding. Once you pick, stick the rolls of tape to the opposite side from the side you want to hang down. When you do this, I started in the center of the roll of rubber and worked each roll of tape to the outside in opposite directions. This lets the two separate pieces of tape meet under the point of the nose of the car which makes it easier to handle. (Only peel one side of the tape at a time.) Once you get the tape into place on the rubber take a heat gun or hair dryer and heat it up slightly and press or roll it on good to make sure it adhered. Let it sit stretched out while you prep the car, clean the underside of the bumper with soapy water and/or alcohol. Make sure its clean and DRY! After you've done that you can begin applying the rubber to the car. I started in the center of the car using the center split in the tape directly under the point of the nose and worked to one side then the other. Peel the tape and begin to stick it to the car. Do not press it in firmly at first so you may move it around until you decided where it looks best to you. Go slow and step back and look at it every few feet. Once you get to the wheel, trim to your liking and repeat for the opposite side again starting at the nose and working to the other wheel. Once it is completely on the car, go back with your heat gun/hair dryer and heat the rubber under the car and FIRMLY press in to make sure it adhered. Thats it...your done. 20 bucks/20 minutes
Not my cup of tea, but hats off for doing something different!
wow that was very simple. probably will look better on a black car than my white one, but i might give it a shot one day. thanks for the write up!
Would it be possible to get a shot of it up close level with where the seal touches the bumper?
I like how it looks man
