Converted is what Im saying we did. We converted them prior to sales.

The minis were like brand new. Prob had 3 years worth of training and qualifying rounds through them, but looked like new.

We used them at IN DOC and I loved them.

Perfect rifle overall IMO.

I think, and I may be wrong here so cut me some slack-

The Mini-14 in full auto was a different rifle called the AC556 and if you had actual mini-14's, they were converted in house to full auto using a different trigger group.

So, they just reverted them.....(I think)

Ah that link says 10 round and 15 round round mags included. They are probably the same size dimensionally but the 10rd has an indentation preventing the cartridges from double stacking, like the post ban Beretta mags.

We purchased them as "mini 14s" and they had the 3 settings. Thats all I can tell u. Lol. Sorry, I dont know more

I think you missed what I was saying.

I was stating if they were actually Mini-14's, they were modified in-house which is a trigger group modification and a bit of milling to install the switch for select fire. If they came from the factory as a select fire, they were AC-556's and a different gun altogether.

I have no idea what amount of work it would take to make an AC-556 legal for normal ownership as it was classified from Ruger as an automatic/select fire rifle.

Held a SR40 today and hated it, thank god for the gun shop at the range. Held a G23 and kinda liked it.

At the advice of the sales guy, if I join GSSF for three years they mail you a discount?

I have a g22 and its perfect but im a big person.

Did you test the m&p?

It has a very ergo grip and doesnt have quite the glock "angle" some complain about.

You could also find an leo buddy or get a pt security job and get a hell of a discount on glock. If you are retired military or EMS you can also

Hold a sig p320 too before u decide. I hated the glock feel but like the m&p and absolutely love the sig feel. Hence why I now have both lol

The 320 doesn't feel the same as the 226 or 229, it feels like a less flat M&p.

Have you tried a xd-s yet? I'm a Springfield guy myself. The shield seemed to have a very similar feel to the xd

Wow, Hitler must be running New Jersey. You couldnt make me cross the border into that foreign country!

Its just ridiculous. I as a law enforcement officer in PA can legally carry anywhere in the country because of my arrest powers. A corrections officer who does a job that even I wouldnt take (i deal with badguys sometimes... they only deal with badguys, ALL THE TIME) gets arrested over carrying in a neighboring state??? I know by the letter of the law he is not covered... but at the same time, we all live in that grey area called LIFE and its not all black and white. Just ridiculous. Worst part is they found out because he told them after a crash in which he was a victim... not like he shot or even threatened someone and they were called for a gun related issue.

Reason why I moved out and will not move back to new Germany. It's nuts. Just read online a NJ representative in the state government is presenting get again to make NJ a shall issue to civilian state and have reciprocity. It'll get shot down (pun intended) rather quickly

Id venture to guess (hoping here) they had to find a place to secure the firearm because both parties were transported to the hospital.

In that case, paper trail and too many eyes for professional courtesies.
