Anyone that buys a 800 dollar plus gun should seriously consider firebird1995. He saved me nearly 200 dollars over the lowest 4 gun shops near me and one of.those shops is the largest in Michigan
Any guesses ?

Wife got me a dpms oracle AR for our anniversary.
Not the greatest but good enough to play with and will be worth 3x what she paid when bernie or shillery get elected.
Arsenal sam7r-66. Will be breaking it in sooner then later. Very smooth gun .
No AK lovers on here?
I love AK's, but have zero idea of which one is what.
We are going to be selling our PD AR15s. They were military surplus and are still set to do single... 3 round burst, or full auto. I dont think we can sell em like that... but if anyone is interested... they will prob go very cheap.

Class 3 dealer can. @firebird_1995 can u clarify?

If you pay the tax you can have full auto.
Odds are, some collector will scoop em up.
I believe according to the ATF once that lower has been made in a manner thats full auto, the SN can never be sold as a non full auto. But don't hold me to that.
And 200 stamp? lulz I wish, I think a class 3 or whatever tier it is, is like 10k a year?
Tax stamp for full auto is 200 to atf

Guess I mistook the price of stamp, for the price of buying a full auto firearm. My bad.
to own a full auto is jumping threw a pile of hoops... I wonder how you guys as a police department do a transfer? do they have to go directly to a class 3 distributor?
all the pre ban 1986 guns i thought were the only full auto's available to the public? or are some LEO guns getting cycled into the system? i don't think they are
are they pre ban guns @popo8
The tax stamps are available to the public with atf approval. Depending on what you are applying for (automatic weapon, short barreled rifle, suppressor) the price changes. Been a while since i looked into it but it was 150-500. The class 3 dealer license was 5k a year when I last looked.
Larry, I'm not sure on the legalities are on your department transferring them. I would say that they will have to be transferred to a class 3 dealer (or most likely, another department) before going to someone with a stamp but I'm not sure.
I have no idea

Ask your captain or whoever is in charge on how you guys sell those if you don't mind. Im just interested on how it work's. Only full auto stuff i see for sale is pre 86' stuff.
I didnt think law enforcement stuff got into the system where the general public could purchase. I know many manufactures still make full auto stuff obviously for military and law enforcement but didn't think it got mixed in with the pre ban guns
Ok. Ill find out what i can for u

@firebird_1995 RUG03472 price? Its the SR40, 15+1rd, 4.114 barrel.
He's correct.
Dealers, musuems, or demos according to US Code.
Wouldn't they become a completely different firearm?
Bear with me if you can:
The lower is registered under its serial and owning it would require a stamp.
In order to convert it, one would have to purchase and replace each and every lower. Therefore, creating a new, completely different firearm.
However, destroying the lowers and selling the rest of the gun would be legal and fall under "parts."
Just my 2 pennies as that's what Kiesler's does here in Indiana.
Means stripping each rifle down to a bare lower and then selling em as a box of parts. Not sure but I assume the sear is different for full auto?
PD would lose money that way. (And would a class 3 FFL be required to do that work?)
They are a PD.
They could dispose of the lowers I believe. ATF recommends taking "historic" full auto parts without paperwork to the nearest PD for disposal.
Interesting
Im am far from an armourer so I cant answer the technicals. I can tell u that we did the same with our mini14s and sold them via firearm auction to the highest bidder.
