Who is this mystical man you speak of
Brad
The other g body?
Yea, the light green one. We now have 4 g bodies lol. Actually, this is probably the first year there were more g bodies than b bodies.
How was it running? You talking about the one I saw 2 years ago at beech bend?
I have a lot of bugs to work Out on mine so I can't really talk lol. It is however all done :)
Yea. I'll just say that he most likely would have won it had the trans not crapped out on him. It was movin.
The "moment before all hell broke loose" picture.
That's the truth. In the right lane, brad went and died, then after David I went and died.
At least I broke at the Shootout and not midnight madness the night before.
And I was so happy with how well it was working and how much fun the cruise with all those LTXers was.
If it broke at MM we would have pulled an all nighter putting a trans in that car and you know it
You know it, it would have been a close race for both ES/PA and True Street. Looks like the trans is going to have to come out and something better go in.
If you're on a budget, I've got about 1k in my 80e, and that includes the converter and hd2 shift kit. Yes it is heavier, but it's got all the right junk in all the right places. All it takes to run it is switching 2 wires on the trans plug and changing the shift logic in the tune. I personally think that in heavier power added car that is leaving the line hard, the higher 2.68 first gear vs the 60's 3.06 helps keep the tires from blowing off.
She's all about that bass, no treble
And just wait one minute, you all would have to beat that "faster than it looks" blue car. True Street sure would have been interesting to say the least.
Oh and we do have an 80e at the shop.
Cant believe my ol junk 4l80e went 10.39 lol the monte will flat roll with more test n tune
LOL did you even spray during true street? I was working on the car during that whole event so I have no idea what was going on.
When you can take a junkyard trans and do that, that's impressive. I'm curious to see how it holds up over time but I'll never run another trans in any street driven car again.
There was some spray involved.
I remember Friday night she was loving the juice..... i likea the juice, the juice is good
U like da juice ehh? Lol. Great reference.

heres a crappy video of one of your passes.
Thanks! LOL that was the first pass after the opti change. Wasn't sure what was going to happen.
Wow... that thing really lifts the entire left side...
Yea, needs an anti roll bar, bad
In one video you can see it pretty well hold that stance all the way down the track. It was scary
I remember seeing that. Lol. Does it feel squirly?
Geez, put an engine in that thing! That will bring the front end down some.
Still so sad. I get it... but still so sad.
Just too much overhead. The car runs amazing and I'm going to try and sell it for an exorbitant price on ebay after its appraised, but realistically, nobody wants a (potentially) 9 second street car
Hahah... u mean everyone wants a 9 sec street car. Thats faster than my turd
When was that???
Saturday. That was the food drive/dyno day brad has been posting.
Anthonys shop is an hour away so I drug it up there
Hey now I put down 238! Good catching up with ya
Yea he got swamped with paying customers (we traded some labor) so it's just been sitting. I think I'm going to take it out to the track Saturday night for the last night of the year
Awesome... crisp fall air... 9s!!!!
