i have a olive drab g23 also and I LOVE IT....:gunsmilie::2guns:
just throwing this out there....from what i understand glock had the g22 out before S&W had a gun on the market that could fire their own "new" round,so glocks were shooting S&W.40 b4 smith was.
here you go,sometimes cut and paste sucks!!!!
The .40 S&W cartridge debuted January 17, 1990, along with the new Smith & Wesson Model 4006 pistol, although it was several months before the pistols were available for purchase. Austrian manufacturer Glock Ges.m.b.H. beat Smith & Wesson to the dealer shelves in 1990, with pistols chambered in .40 S&W (the Glock 22 and Glock 23) which were announced a week before the 4006.[5]Glock's rapid introduction was aided by its engineering of a pistol chambered in 10mm Auto, the Glock 20, only a short time earlier. Since the .40 S&W uses the same bore diameter and case head as the 10mm Auto, it was merely a matter of adapting the 10mm design to the shorter 9×19mm Parabellum frames. The new guns and ammunition were an immediate success.

my neighbor got a sig p238 it's a mini 1911.everyone has a preference i don't like the carry cocked and locked thing with a thumb safety.
i am really liking my g43 alot!!!
Just left the gun range with my sister's boyfriend. Had a blast. Put about 500 rds total threw my ar15, ak47, 10mm glock 20, p32 keltec, 380 glock 42, and xds 45.
Very impressed with the 10mm glock. Shooting hot loads threw it and it doesn't kick hardly at all.
Ar15 was jamming like crazy. Its a brand new gun and hopefully is experiencing a break in period. Gonna take it home and verify i don't have the rings on the thing aren't lined up . It wasnt cycling the bolt all the way back.
And i got a sweet little gem on the way thanks to @firebird_1995
Lucky, I spent my range time next to some clown with a AR10 and hating life.
if you don't have 1 in the chamber than there is no reason to carry it.
i have a bersa 380 but that is single double.
Bersa380,G19,G23,G30,G43 and M&P9:D

The GOI would disagree on the carrying in the chamber aspect.
Govt of Israel.
As you draw you chamber a round.
Its all what one is comfy with.
Ah... Jersey...

Accurate. Doing that can lead to something like this:

Hopefully that guy killed him, llawsuit will be soon to follow because the robber who was armed was a good boy and didn do nuffin wrong. He attended church and was turning his life around
Threat was leaving and did not pose danger to people. IMO lousy shoot.
You don't know who he would have encountered on the way out, man-crush. Should he wait until someone gets shot before returning fire? Bullshit. Turn your jersey shore valve off. If a perp relinquishes a gun for the purpose of possible harm and intimidation that piece of shit has lost his right to live, and I'm glad there are states that still stand up for this instead of some "turn the other cheek and run" nonsense.
I wouldn't want that on my conscience, but thats me.
That's true. It is always better to be a living witness, but it's a catch 22. You do something and kill the guy you have to live with it. If you do nothing and he kills someone you have to live with it. It sucks all the way around and I hope I'm never in a position I have to make that decision.
Agreed, and we are couch criticizing here.
Hey BRAH, depends on what you want to do with the rifle. If it were me, i wouldn't put an optic on a weapon like that. I know from experience that most cheap quick detach will not hold zero and if they do at first later will loosen up or even fall off If the gun is actually used.
If you want a wall mount look at my gun type deal keep the cheap quick detach.
If you want a Shit hit the fan mount, run a cheap solid mount and optic so that if the optic fails you can wipe it off the weapon with a doorway, rock, tree ect and use iron sights. I am not familiar with your cheek weld or the optic height or eye relief (im not googling it) so it makes it hard for me to offer a recommendation.
I can tell you i have considered the ultimak m1-b barrel mount. To me the design always made sense and isnt stupid expensive. Its still cheaper than a high end detachable mount. Price point was a "point" for you so you cant really have it all.
Keep in mind im a precision shooter so mounts and prices and performance to me are different than some dude or in this case a brah with an AK.
If this is a sit down at a shooter bench mount, i have little to no info as its retarded on an AK.
Yeah I considered that one too, breh, but there are those pesky on-line commandos who say it too can have trouble staying on zero, so yeah it's probably better to just use the original sights. Only one that looks like it would have the least amount of trouble is a rail that requires drilling/tapping into the receiver. Not doing that since this is nothing but a plinker.
Stop being a bitch and iron sight only brotato
You're saying it wrong, man-crush. It's "DON'T BE BEECH AND USE BLESSED RIFLE OF THE MOTHERLAND THE WAY IT WAS INTENDED!"
Still going to torque down the UTG rail. I like shooting with a red dot and don't want an AR like every breh on the planet has, broshore.
Anderson lower, and i think a radical upper with carbine gas length system, nothing special. What's odd is was shooting it 2 weeks ago with a standard a2 flash hider and a gen 2 magpul 30 rd mag and it was perfectly fine.
Put a witt machine mre on it and was shooting a 42 rd mag and its having all kind of issues. It ejects the spent casing and pushes the new rd about halfway up and pins the case against where the bolt locks into the upper.
What do you mean a .40 will hurt your hands?
The gas system didn't like the change, take the mre off and I bet it's run fine again.
I can load .40 to over 1100fps(1200+ depending on weather) with 180 grain bullets a true hot load, after a mag or two it feels like you slapped a table top or slapped a whore across the face.
The recoil is harsh enough I worry about damage to the frame guide rod ect.
