Cut about half a second and ran a 1:35.7. The theoretical looks good at 1:35.1 with decent confidence, but there were a few things keeping me from being consistent.
1. Brake pedal looses a ton of bite as the session goes on and the pedal gets considerably longer. This makes threshold braking really difficult because the bite point keeps moving around. I'm gonna do a total brake fluid flush with something better than the ATE typ 200 that's in there now. I also want to rig up air deflectors on the tie rods to funnel some air onto the rotor (like the ones Vorshlag makes).
2. As a result of the soft pedal, I ended up flat spotting my tires a little. These RT615k+'s are at or below the wear bars anyway, so I think it's time to throw on the RS4s and get a more aggressive alignment.
3. I need a harness badly. The 3pt on this Corbeau is definitely better than stock, but my torso still flops around a bunch. Giving point-bys while turning is super dangerous because I'm still pushing against the steering wheel to stay upright. I'll try to rig up my eBay harness bar and a 5/6 pt despite being very dangerous in a rollover.
Car did great overall though. This was my first time running with the Advanced group in this particular club and goddam the pace was fast. Thankfully I wasn't the slowest in the group, but I was definitely on the slower end of the spectrum. I'm not used to this lol.
