Not that long knowing the tricks. Pull the starter and steering shaft to install the headers. Do not turn the wheel while the shaft is disconnected. As long as no bolts break in the heads its not too bad. The ones that connect the manifold and the y are gonna break. If my z hadn't had the cat replaced and welded to the catback mine would have been done in a couple hours. Beginner depending on your mechanical knowledge a day or two. Your going to need help with the headers going in. Someone up top and someone under. Took me 2 days on my ws6 but that was also from trying to figure out the starter and steering shaft tricks.Quote:

Soak them overnight with liquid wrench or equivelant. The steering shaft is easy. Just 2 bolts and pry it off. I say don't turn the steering wheel as if you turn it too far it will break the airbags sensor thing. It is easy enough to put back on and by not turning anything it will line right up. I was leery at first as well.

Well the inevitable crash is hitting. Man I hope tomorrow goes good or well today. Elliott's bday party. Little guy is a year old. Seems like yesterday he wasn't even around. They are growing up too fast. Last couple of days me and Catherine have sat and watched old cartoon movies from the 80s-90s. Elliott has been clinging to me. I think they know I'm going back out to work soon. :( sucks I can't spend more time with them but can't make money sitting at home or in this area for that matter. If I was old enough should go work with Jamie lmao.
Oh and I got quoted $400 if they didn't have to pull the heads and $1500 if they had to pull the heads to remove 2 manifold bolts from my car.
