Very nice build!
Quick little update. I now have anxiety over work done by "professionals" and am rethinking everything. That oil leak I had made me think it was likely the rear main seal. So I bought a Dorman kit that includes the rear motor plate with seal and hardware. I also bought an alignment tool, which ended up being the wrong tool, but also the perfect tool for punching the new seal in place. Anyway, the original rear motor plate bolts were loose. All of them. They were NEVER torqued down. 3 hours of work to find that out and another 2 to slam it all back together. Not including the driveshaft and intake/coils/etc. I finished all of that today.
Anyway, it is all back together with a fresh oil change and fired up without starting fluid and the throttle wasn't event hooked up lol. Fired up like a CHAMP! Also, I hooked up my new TSP Y pipe that finally came in after like 2 months so I can hear that sweet, sweet Pypes catback. Unsure if the cutout is open, but who cares. I really want to get this thing tuned and drive it!
Interior is still tore down, dash is half out. Need to slap the radiator and trans cooler in. The power steering pulley also has a serious death wobble. It's a Dorman replacement and was super cheap. I may just get the fancy Turn One pump and be done with it.

She sounds rowdy!!!! Nicely done!
Thanks, all! It definitely sounds rowdier than my h/c/i LS7 haha, and probably way worse street manners. We will see soon enough.
The TSP Y pipe has a 2.75" OD pipe that ties into the catback. Unfortunately, my catback has a cutout added onto it and another straight 3" piece welded in that is supposed to connect to a Y pipe. The other issue is length as the two pipes butt up against each other barely. I rifled through my clamp box and tried a few different band clamps but none seal the 2.75" side to my liking. So, I ordered a new lap band clamp and should get that in a day or two. After the exhaust is sealed up and adjusted (wonky tips and pretty sure the driver side Y pipe is hitting the floor lol), it is radiator time.
The LM7 also got a fresh oil change (Napa 5w30 synthetic and Wix 57060 - new fbody LS pan uses an LS3 filter).
I don't plan on touching the brakes right away unless there is an issue, but what are some good budget street brake upgrades that are substantially better than stock LT1 brakes? Not sure if the car will ever see a 15" wheel on the rear. Are LS1 calipers and rotors really worth it? C5/V1? C6 or V2?
Also, considering throwing my stock C6Z Spyder wheels on the car but afraid they will look ridiculous lol. Opinions are welcome.
