True, but now NHRA requires a helmet in all cars regardless of time if it has anything but a fixed roof (t-tops,conv.). I suppose that might not be a NHRA track...or an old pic...

Sometimes they allow it when the track is rented out privately. I have only done it at Bolwing Green for the Corvette Carvan back in '03...ran my car with shorts/tank top/flip flops and no helment...not the safest by I wasn't really making full blown passes since it was 100* and I was blowing the rear tires off the line...someting I wouldn't do again.
B-rad, I remember Jayson Cohen owner of MTI in Houston having those exact wheels on his yellow C5. Kinda crazy.
I saw Jayson's car in Bristol,Tn.. at the time i had a 01 yellow corvette and the car you see in the pics above. came home and bought these wheels. i since have sold my C5
