Awesome... now what are the plans?
Get my grandpa to drive the car down to a car show. Start showing it off :D
Eventually, we are going to try again at fixing the A/C. Someone put a dent in the fender too a few years back. What a shame too. How can somebody do such a thing. :( He doesn't know if he wants to fix it, because of how hard it would be to match the paint. Has to be appraised too. But first things first is an appraisal. They have it insured for $5000 only! Haggerty had it at 28k I believe with some of the options added.
Show us the dent. Look into paintless dent repair...
Also... hagerty will do up to 30k agreed upon value with some simple pics and questionaire
Facebook banned me apparently.... I guess I wasn't racist foul mouthed enough to be on there?

Tried my best at getting a picture. What it is actually, is part of the fiberglass chipped along with the paint. So it would have to be filled. [emoji53] It's terrible because someone in my family did it.

It's like a love hate relationship. Like I said, we don't even know if its going to be possible without having to repaint the front end. The paint went on special. What they did was spray it on, and it would look beautiful. Then they would sand it down so it would look dull, paint again. Etc etc. It was done maybe 4 or 5 times so. It wasn't cheap but so worth it. If I had a red car, I would have it repainted to this color any day.

The body shop I use has a fancy camera that will mix paint colors to match the exact color on your car. We painted the front clip on my car and IMO it matches damn well for teh rest of the car being from 95.
When i worked at the body shop (16 years ago) we dealt with a paint amd body supply store. When we didnt have paint codes...i would remove the gas filler door and take it to them. They had a camera connected to a computer that would be able to give the formula to mix the color that matches.
Should not be that hard to match OP.
