Preeetty sure you just dove off the deep end there. I said PDs don't need military grade equipment. Never said they shouldn't have anything. I was careful to not toss a label at you in my wording. Guess we can't both stay calm in a conversation. You still have ignored my one and only point in all this: give me a justifiable reason any local PD needs an MRAP over the armored vans they already have? Have you ever been in any situation requiring an MRAP? Please, do tell.

And yet it's so common here that they're calling for FBI to investigate because the Dallas PD can't be trusted to honestly investigate their own. You may not see it in your town, but over here there's plenty of it. I have a good friend who lives in Miami and it's even worse over there for him.

Like I said, you can ignore the news all you want, but the last thing the crooked PDs like Dallas and Miami need are military equipment, yet they are getting it anyway.
