if you order 1 they built on spec you won't wait weeks.but it's such a nice product and at that price it's unbelievable.worth the wait there is NO better holster for 30-40 bux.
there is a money back guarantee.after looking at the website i may get the 2 holster combo 1 for my M&P 9 and 1 for my G30.the 1 i have will cover my G19 and my G23
Have you looked into Foxx holsters? They're about equally price as the alien gear, but more closely resemble a crossbreed.
I haven't, will now though! Thanks!
I ordered this one for now, had good reviews and I kinda liked how simple it was. The price was nice too. But the more I look into it and watch videos showing the different ones in action, the more I like the cross breed, alien gear etc style.

If you want a no frills, all business, lightning fast holster, the mic holster is pretty sweet. There's zero bulk, fits anywhere inside the waste line, and the best part imo you don't sweat from leather patch on your hip. They do have a 3-4 week wait currently.
You really need to just settle on a good utility piece, with the Glock being the leading candidate in the overall best utility piece on the market. Highly reliable, easy to clean, lightweight, accurate and well within your stated budget.
In terms of affordable stopping power, there's no question that the 40 caliber round is the best compromise.
Once ya get a daily carry, train regularly until you come to know what you like about it and what ya don't.
I own a dozen side arms, from the .44 DE, which I LOVE to shoot... but it takes a loan to fund a day at the range with it. In terms of stopping power, it'll stop pretty much anything you're likely to come up against... and it is MOI MACHO! (Which is kinda cool) But it's enormous... so for a regular sized guy, it's not much for Daily Carry.
The obligatory Springfield 1911 is awesome and ridiculously accurate, the action is SMOOoooth, strike is dead on the end of the light as a feather pull; no hitches and it will stop a truck. But again... kinda bulky. And even ball ammo is not cheap for it.
The Glocks; 23 and 27 (both chambered in .40) are both spot on accurate, light weight, and affordable, but I've never cared for the mags and their release action. It's no deal breaker, because I love shooting both. The little 27 can be carried without fail in shorts, and a t-shirt and the extended mag makes the grip tolerable for guys with semi-large hands. But again, just don't care for the mag-release... .
The HK P2000 was mechanically perfect, the mag blows out clean and can readily be jettisoned without fail when times get tough or palmed for casual exchanges at the range. But the HK trigger has a curve that leaves me lame after a few hundred rnds. A 600 rnd day rolls through the blister and into a festering wound.
There's the old Colt .32 hammerless pocket, which you can carry in your pocket and no one would ever be the wiser, but it's a .32... and it doesn't like most types of ammo... thus has cycling problems with most. And so it went with various other brands and models... liked 'em all, each with its respective pros and cons.
Then... One day, I was cruising through the pawn shop looking for buys on tools and ran across the Sig Pro 2340. It was love at first rnd... FOR ME ... we were made for one another.
And for years now, no matter what I load up for a day at the range, inevitably, I end up running home to momma.
Siggy... fits my grip perfectly. The mag releases precisely; not quite as smooth as the HK, but mighty close.
I'm not a great shot with anything, but I am a good shot with just about anything that I get behind; but with the Sig, I am an above average shooter.
Buy & shoot. Keep the good one's, sell the one's that don't fit. You'll find your fave and no one will need to tell you, which piece works best for you.
I have had a few in my day but I still use my g19 as my off duty weapon of choice.

Got my holster yesterday, seems to be pretty high quality leather. Fits good and snug. Think it's gonna take some getting used to though. This is the style I wanted for many reasons, but I think I'm sold on those alien gear kydex models too, hard to beat for 30$. Then I'll have a good sample of both styles.
