Any updates?
Nah. Just sat the past month or so. Need to find a way to make a bleeder for my heater hoses so I'm not freezing.

ACTION!!
What was the time I couldn't see?
Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
11.8. I babied it for a few reasons, was happy to just get a pass in.

wow what gears you running looked like you were half track before you shifted out of 1st lol
3.54s and a 28" tire. I'd love to find a shorter tire or numerically higher gear. Either seems impossibru.

just add some nitrous to help you get off the line ;)
Whats your best time slip so far?
Nah. I refuse to use spray. Ill ginf a way around it.
Iirc it was 11.2@?, can only remember the et. 10psi, 2 years ago, only 18* timing lol.

Ginf=find.
So I'm considering a winter project. De-mod the car!
Put power steering back on and giving her some DD ZR1s again. Tired of never driving it because its a PITA. So my manual rack (now a 100% bolt in) and wheels may hit the classifieds in a while.
Also have another idea but won't even open that can of worms until I do it. Its time I enjoy the car, not let it sit.

i dont think i could ever build a car i couldnt drive easily everyday. your car is badass, but it should be driven. i agree with your statement
Only de mod is the steering lol. I want regular street tires, andvthe rack makes it impossible. I found all my ps stuff at my old house. Should all still be good. So its almost free.

Is the manual rack really that bad?
Hell yea, Your car looked badass with the zr1's.

Its a pita because of the skinnies. Always worry about em. I went too far imo.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
Slightly de mod. The manual rack with skinnies is no different than ps when rolling. Takes a little more effort at a still. I like it but toss something wider than my 185 on it and it sucks.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
Yea I'd never fully demod it lmao.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
and ur just afraid the skinnies will fail on the street?

Yea, potholes, abrupt stops, turns, and always leaving room in case I have to avoid an accident always lingers in my head.

Have any pics? Ill be interested in a month or so. Maybe sooner.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
Yea you never notice em until you gotta stop real fast. Only takes once. I don't mind if I drive it once a month like I am but I really wanna drive it next year. Tired of it being a unicorn. You hear about it but never see it.

I saw a set of used wheels like mine for sale in a local cl ad. 500.00
MEMBER @ LTXtech.com
Ah. I need a 17x11. Probably won't hook even with that really lol.

How about skinnies that are not AS skinny. Keep the look, yet more contact patch?
There are no skinny tires rated for the full front weight of a LT1 car, then toss on a front mount turbo kit and yea, not many tires will satisfy the weight requirements.
Just run a light wheel, and deal with the heavier (albeit safer) tire. I know my OEM ZR1 rims weigh next to nothing and a 275 tire isn't half bad at hooking decent.
185 radial. Theyre what M&H recommended. I've seen heavier cars on skinnies.
