Well fastbird, you have some time to catch up, as stated my clutch will be a couple weeks, and I just talked to FI today because I noticed my card hadn't been charged.
They said they don't like to charge the customer until the turbo company charges them. (very standup company/ethics/policy IMHO) My turbo housing/cover is on backorder from turbonetics and they will supposedly be getting more by the end of the month.
Oh quick question.... my block is bored 4.030... should I get my headgaskets 4.040 or 4.060?
I had to look again but I thought you were working on a bad ass turbo set up. Hows that coming along?

That is a nice size order. A bunch of little parts with a big price tag. Ain't that the way it goes. I have a lot of the same parts for mine. I believe I'm going to talk to realquick (Jon I think his name is) and ask him about custom turbo hot parts. I've removed enough stuff from my car that I really want a simple laid out kit where the headers just come straight forward, down, and together for a single turbo in front of the where the water pump use to be.
just send him pics with how much room you have and such and I'm sure he can make it
Now i'm just getting all excited thinking about turbos again.:drool:

I don't know if you could hook up the Aeromotive to your rails. I presume you could if you could find an adapter to hook up to the stock rail fittings and kind of plumb the aeromotive inbetween the lines/rails. Of course, you could just get a stock styled aeromotive if you're going that route. Fits right into the stock rails.Quote:

Well, like I said, I know they make adapters and such. You're planning on running -AN lines from the pumps and ditching the stockers right?? If that's the case, run the -AN's to a y block to a single into the stock rail inlet via adapter, out with an -AN from the stock rail outlet via adapter into the Aeromotive. Should be readily doable.

I too heard of people getting high HP numbers and rocking the stock lines. Heard the same from people using dual Walbro pumps. I didnt want to risk it with the lines so I sumped the stock tank, ran all braided line, and installed 2 Walbro inline pumps. No feakin dice. Had to sell the basically brand new pumps, buy more fittings and braided line, and get a big single pump. I ended up with an Aeromotive Eliminator.
I guess its because of the fuel consumption requirements of FI motors. If you need 85# or bigger injectors, I wouldnt risk it with the stock lines and dual pumps. FWIW, and IIRC, the 'bolt-in' Aeromotive kit that uses stock lines and an external A1000 pump is advertised to only 700hp N/A.
Dual walbros will hold well over 600whp easy... my buddy ran out of fuel on a 74mm turbo with a V6 at 550whp on a single walbro. I will not do an external pump no matter what.Quote:
