I too heard of people getting high HP numbers and rocking the stock lines. Heard the same from people using dual Walbro pumps. I didnt want to risk it with the lines so I sumped the stock tank, ran all braided line, and installed 2 Walbro inline pumps. No feakin dice. Had to sell the basically brand new pumps, buy more fittings and braided line, and get a big single pump. I ended up with an Aeromotive Eliminator.
I guess its because of the fuel consumption requirements of FI motors. If you need 85# or bigger injectors, I wouldnt risk it with the stock lines and dual pumps. FWIW, and IIRC, the 'bolt-in' Aeromotive kit that uses stock lines and an external A1000 pump is advertised to only 700hp N/A.
