Definitely was. I know how much he wants this car to be his...

I've been up front about the fact that I may keep it. Especially now that I found out it's already got the Bluetooth Prep and my phone immediately paired with it, and it's prewired for Nav which would be literally under a $300 upgrade for factory NAV. :D
But.........putting $7K or so back in the bank sounds nice too.
Oh, I think the car needs TPMS. Service history from last year said they were causing issues and it's throwing a TPMS fault now. Can get sensors for $140 but not working in a shop anymore........I weep to think what I'd pay someone to swap the sensors, lol.
eh, TMPS is overrated. if you don't know you have a flat you shouldn't be driving.. LOL BTW, you have VCDS yet?
No. Have a couple buddies locally with it. Nothing I really need to do with it though.
And if u catch a vcds they prob have a cream for it. Lol
Lol, it's also know as VAG-COM. .
The first time I read about VAG-COM on passatworld I thought you have to be kidding...
Crazy how expensive those cars are brand new and how sharp the resale value tanks in a period of 10 years. A V6 Accord of the same year sell for about that. The Audi is a lot nicer car. I would sell it and take the cash.
Resale tanks due to maintaining the car, especially if you have to go to the dealership. If you can turn your own wrenches you can get a hell if a deal on a nice one, just like Sean and I. Mine just really needed cosmetics and minor mechanical. I did the timing belt just because of the milage being close to the recommendation of Audi. Electrically they can be a nightmare, but again guys like us can handle that too. For my $2500 investment on my a4, and the $500 I'm putting into it, I could flip it for over 2x or maybe more. I did look for Hondas before getting my audi, and an accord with damn near 2x the milage went for 2x what I paid for the audi. I'm hoping my gamble pays off.
VAG stands for Volkswagen Audi Group. I had to Google it.. lol
