I want a set. And only need the spacers. I can get bolts and gaskets, and I have an ewp so dont need the drive coupling. (Im not worried about clearance. :))

That's where my head is with the right now. I've thrown the idea out on here, and on a few facebook pages, just to see what the reaction is. I know that when the machinist has a hunk of stock clamped into a machine and the program written, the first (and possibly some of the second) is all cost. Its the third, fourth, fifth, etc ones that are all profit. I'm hoping he will work with me on price if I order say 5 sets at a time. It may take me a year to sell them all, but if I can get the price down to the point they'll sell, then its worth it. I'll see what kind of feedback I get over the next few days and go from there.
I would take a set but would wait till I have to change the opti out if it happens.
Exactly. I would equate this purchase to the equivalent to those little packets of antisieze they push on you when you buy spark plugs at the parts store. No reason to get in there until there's a problem with the opti. But at that time, the spacer should be considered preventative "i gotta change my opti blues" maintenance.
I'd get a set but I'm going 24x :( this woulda saved me soooo much time and effort

This is a great idea. This will make doing cap and rotor changes more frequent. You should consider offering this to the Impala B-body crowd, they are more prone to buying convenience and dress up items for their cars, plus their extra room in the engine compartment really compliments this mod. Consider posting this up on the many various LT1-Fbody, Impala B-body facebook pages. I guarantee you will get a far larger reaction.
Maybe you should try casting them ;)
