Those must be what you mean, seems like the whole she-bang for a great price. Doesnt say if the require the 1.85 length or not though.

it was a .210/.220 duration .510/.510 max lift compcam.
Your valve being shorter then recommended will not change the overall lift. It will compress the spring a little and raise the open spring pressure... but lower is max lift capabilities, and probably shorten it lifespan a little.

That is a much smaller cam than I want in mine... hmm.
This is all interesting stuff. I've learned quite a bit about the dynamics of the valvetrain through this discussion. I'm concerned now that I'll hit coil bind because of the valves being too short. I'll need to take a measurement of my valve to be sure.
"You can use high ratio rockers if you like as long as the lift is no more then .590" @ the valve and the installed height is properly set." Wish they listed what the installed height is supposed to be. I'll be running 1.6's, and my cam won't be over 590 but the installed height could be off and ruin the whole set-up.
In the end though, for 125(including new seals), these springs can handle the cam better than what I have currently.
they install at stock height i'm pretty sure. They are made to just drop right in and go. If thats not how they work then my little cam would be coil binding the shit out of them :p
Anyways.... IIRC someone said when i was looking at springs for my new cam that i should pick a spring that has the capability to handle atleast .030 more lift then the cam and rockers actually create... ya know "just in case"

Well I bought the 590 springs you had @englundjd but the cam i want is .566 lift and ill be running 1.6's so that will be too much lift at the valve then wouldn't it? I need to back down the lift on the cam don't I?
well it depends on what the cam was spec'd for, if it was spec'd for 1.5 ratio rockers then you add 1.6 ratio rockers to it then you'll be at .604 lift and that is to much. If the cam was spec'd at .566 lift with 1.6 rockers then you will want 1.6 rockers.
