Yes fans run and SES flashes when scanner is connected.

It has batteries, no additional power plug or cords. Handheld Innova 3120.

Appreciate that Sean. I will check the grounds and all my connections for a start. Maybe next week if I have hit a wall, then I can at least rule it out. They are like $325 on rock auto ! ! !

Alldata pics I copied kept changing so I just removed them.

I would pull up the wiring diagram for the pcm and data connector and chech the grounds at each.

DLC pin A, gonna see where that attaches as I loosened a ground under the steering column when I added in my fan switch, to see if that's it.

Looking at the pcm now, just haven't navigated through alldata in a while.

I miss alldata......and identifix. All we've got at the new shop is freaking Mitchell.

Did you check continuity in all the wires between the port and the ecu... to make sure they are all ok?

Update:

Larry, no I have not checked between the DLC and the ECM.

Visual check of the grounds look ok, but I was unboxing some others goodies instead of checking with the multi-meter.

Fuel Pressure stays steady between 38-42, gauge was a little slanted. Except if I punch the throttle in Park, then I get a stumble/hesitation. If I roll on the throttle from idle it will climb just fine.

I know the plug wires need replacing and I have the new ones, just needing the wrenching time with the weather turning on me fast.

Still can't get any program on two different laptops or my Innova scanner to connect to the car.

Cleaned up all the grounds in the engine bay, and check the DLC ground for good continuity.

With DLC jumped I am getting codes 12 & 15.

The 12 for No distributor reference pulse. ???
The 15 for low engine coolant temp, has the new sensor I just replaced and the wiring is good.

Didn't have to pump the pedal to get it to start today after cleaning the grounds, but still has the bog/hesitation if I punch a little from idle while parked.

Ready to hear ideas.
