Still learning how to navigate the site sorry for the double post.
The car had a rear window leaking causing some rust in the floor boards. I got the rear glass out and put in a new package tray.

Recovered the seats with factory material. They had gray cloth on them when I got he car. I put in new carpet, headliner, dyed the trim pieces etc.... just need to dye the door panels and install the new arm rests on the doors. Interior will be done.

So let me ask u...what made u decide to go with the LT1 as the power plant?

The 400 that was in the car had some bearing issues. Instead of spending 3-4k on rebuilding old technology to get 300hp I knew it would be easier to start with an LT1. Didn't care to swap "another LS" like most folks are doing. I like to be a little different.
The pan had plenty of glitter in it from the bearings.

The oil pump had something go through it. Nicks in the gears.

If you look close at the left side of the journal you can see the flakes from the bearings.

This bearing is done. I didn't pull any more to figure this thing needs a total rebuild.
