Hey thanks for the warm welcome...I wish I would've know about this site earlier. I was just out of the whole car deal for the last year or so. I'll get some pics soon.
Oh yeah, I also had a 1991 GMC Syclone. About one of the most fun vehicles I've ever driven. Had to sell to get the Grand Prix when kid #1 came along, though. At least, my best friend owns it, so I can always 'visit' it. :)

I should explain the 100hp...I started from a much lower point than you. It was the first year of the Tap Shift and GM went crazy with the torque management. I took it to Bandimere and it was running mid 17s. I took it to the dyno and it was only doing 150ish fwhp. Took to the dealer and they checked it out OK. Did some research at ClubGP and figured out that if the PCM saw any wheelspin(track) or cause the stability control to go wonky(dyno)the TM would close the throttle-by-wire a lot and reduce timing. Even with the traction control turned off. So a mail-order tune to eliminate the TM alone brought me up to 207 fwhp and ETs dropped to 15.4. So the tune alone was worth 50 real world HP. I then did the ZZP p-log, 3" high flow cat downpipe, 1.8 rockers, cut the stock airbox and fitted a cylindrical K&N. I run a 3.5 pully on the street and race with a 3.2. I have a 3.0 pulley, but haven't tried it yet. Traction was hard enough to achieve with the 3.2. Best ET on street tires at Bandi with the 3.2 was 14.2 can't remember the MPH.Quote:

Gotcha. I have 1.8s and a n* tb headers stg 2 ic and gonna run 3.0 on corn. Hoping to dip into the 13.5 range. The heads have been massaged a bit and I will have a hidden shot of 75ish.
My 03 is gen v xp heads headers 2.5 cb and intense ic... she is currently down but should be up by my bday to run it then.

Sounds like two nice cars. 13.5 is gonna be easy. Me thinks it will run quicker than that. A bet a GS is fantastic sleeper. Nobody is going to expect the 4-door Buick is fast.
