This is just sad. And ruined my day
We have actually discussed this with the fire marshal, and the school can be locked down up to 75% or something close... that would leave 25% of the doorways unlocked.... with that being said... non armed... $7.00/hr security guards all with access to 911 panic buttons.... Could be close to a solution...Quote:

It angers me to no end that some low life could be so heartless to take the life of innocent children.
My wife teaches in a middle school and her county has cut funding, teacher and staff pay, cut ALL resource officers in the county due to budget short falls, yet somehow the school system has the money to provide every student with new laptops, and iPads for every classroom. How the hell can you even think to protect the kids when there's no security or officers on any campus? Its a weekly occurrence that they have knives, ammo, and guns brought into the schools by students.
my heart cries out for all involved, apparantly he was targeting his mom, but why at school and why innocent kids.....PRAYERS for them and may God find a way to comfort them....
its sad to see this happen to children. there was no need for what these low lifes did. makes me sick.
That would be a great solution, hopefully is doesn't take another incident like this for it or something similar to be put in action. Something has to give sooner or later its just getting crazy now...Quote:
