like i said tho the block has been 0 decked, heads have been shaved. my car currently has completely screwed rings and is burning oil pretty bad. so ether way it should make more compression right?
the build sheet which i no longer have said ether 10-2 or 10-4 with the heads that were originally on it (now on my stock motor) and idk bout what gasket was used. im sure it wouldn't have been 10-4 but for some reason 10-2 isnt the only number that comes to mind. i dont really care to much about the pistons tho mainly because the guy was in a bind an i pick up the long block super cheap. As long as it makes more power then the stocker i will be happy and im sure it will being i can spin it higher safely.
also i don't remember if it was 14cc dish or 16cc, i have 16 written down so that's what im going with, my buddy an i measured it about a year ago so Ive forgotten.

my next question is, with a afr heads, and 0 decked block will i have PTV clearance issues when i get the diamond 12-5 (estimated) pistons

Since your block is zero decked and if you want a reasonable quench, you are probably going to be using the Fel-Pro 1074 head gasket. It is .039 compressed. That will make for a nice quench. The valve reliefs in the Diamond pistons should take care of your PTV clearances but as always, after you get your cam (do some homework) get some Play-Dough or clay and check. You should be fine unless the cam is really screwy. And as always that's IMHO. My 12.0 to 1 solid roller engine has no troubles and a DCR of 9.4. My hydraulic engine has 11.1 to 1 and -16cc dish Mahle pistons. (small LT4 chambers). Both are driven on the street daily and are as reliable as they come. You seem to have a great starting point and you stole it. Good luck.
p.s. If you go with agressive ramps on the cam keep far, far away from the Beehive springs. I destroyed a set in 5000 miles with a XFI cam. I've had great luck with the Patriot gold springs and they're reasonable also.
